  2. The result of the scan is displayed. If a security threat is detected, click Repair to start the repair process.

Scheduled Scan Setting

  2. Under the Scheduled Scan section, select the Enable scans to run at set times checkbox if it is not selected.

  3. Click Add.

  4. When the setting window appears, select Enable scans to run on specified schedules and specify the items below.

Note
To avoid any possible performance issues on the server, it is recommended that you set the scan to run during off-business hours.

Note
If you select Scan vulnerable files only, only the file types that are most likely to be harmful are scanned. This option is provided in case you need an improved scan performance but you are advised to consider the risks involved with not scanning all files.

Note
If you set the maximum scan time, repair action is set as Automatically repair. Also, the scan is automatically paused if the set scan time is over.

Note
In case of Scheduled Scan, if the scan is paused due to the set maximum scan time, it will be resumed when the next Scheduled Scan. For example, if you set Scheduled Scan period as '1 pm everyday,' and scan time as '2 hours,' Scheduled Scan starts at 1pm on day 1 of the month and ends after 2 hours, and it resumes at 1pm on day 2.

  1. Click OK.

  2. You can also modify or delete the added item by clicking Modify/Delete.

  3.  Click Apply to save the settings.
