Custom Access Control
You can configure to control the access of certain files or processes.
Access control works on a process that is already been executed and does
not effect application controls. Note that in the Lockdown mode, only
the write operation is denied for the executed process. In both Maintenance
and Simulation mode, the access control policy is applied to all processes.
- Click Policy.
- Select the Security Program
Policy tab.
- Click Add.
- From the drop-down menu, select AC
Policy then AC Policy.
- Go to the Custom
Execution Control tab.
- Click add and fill out the details.
- Name: Enter a name of the custom policy.
- File/Process: Specify the path of the file
or process for the policy.
Note
Note that Direct input from the drop down list is supported
for Linux only.
- Access Method: Select whether to allow the
Write or Read
method. (Default: Read)
- Response Method: Select whether to Deny
or Allow the file or process
does not comply with the access method specified above. (Default:
Deny)
- Logging: Click Enable to record logs every
time the specified file or process is blocked or allowed.
- Description: Enter a description for the custom
policy for your reference.
- Click OK
to create the custom access control policy.
