Update Settings

You can set update policy on AC Agent.

You can check the following in Update.

• General settings and operation settings for update

Update

Follow the steps below to configure update settings of the AC Agent:

1. Click Policy.
2. Select the Security Program Policy tab.
3. Click Add.
4. Click AC Policy > AC Agent Policy.
5. Click Update. Set required information in General of Update.

• Enable Automatic Updates: Connect to the server according to the set update interval to check if update is required. Run update if it is required.
• Update Interval: Check the update server every set interval and run update if update is required. Enter a value between 1 and 24. (Default: 3)
• Enable Scheduled Updates: Set interval and time to automatically run update at scheduled time. You can set the date and time in Every day, Every week, Every month or Once option to run update at set time.
• Every day: Run update every day at the set time.
• Every week: Run update every week at the set time of the day of the week.
• Every month: Run update every month at the set time of the date.
• Once: Run update only once at the set time of the day.

6. Set required information in Operation.

• Max Retry Attempts: Set the number of attempts to retry connecting to the server if the server cannot connect to the update server at the set interval. You can enter a value between 1 and 99. (Default: 15)

7. Set required information in Proxy Server.

• Use the Proxy Server: When updating, connects to the internet through the proxy server. Set the proxy server when you need to use the proxy server to connect to the internet to update.
• Server Address: Enter proxy sever address. Enter a valid IPv4 proxy server address.
• Port No.: Enter the Port No. used in the proxy server. Enter a value between 1 and 65535.
• Login ID: Enter the Login ID of the proxy server.
• Password: Enter the password to the Login ID of the proxy server.

8. Click Save.
