Terminating Agent

To terminate the agent execution, you must terminate the agent. Depending on the server policy, the user may not be able to run agent termination or agent termination may become available after entering the password set up by the admin. In case of the agent user allowing agent termination, the Exit menu will be active and appear.

Terminate

Terminates agent. The agent termination policy operates depending on the server policy.

Note

The termination menu will operate depending on the Policy > Agent Policy > Agent Settings of Agent Termination Settings.

1. Right-click the agent icon () from the taskbar icon and select Terminate.
2. Depending on the policy set by the server, exit will follow through the following process:

• Allow After Password Input: Allows termination of agent only after entering password set by the admin. Click Terminate, and a window to enter the agent password will appear. You must enter the password set by the server admin. If the password is correct, the agent icon on the taskbar will disappear.
• Always Allow: The user of the agent can terminate the agent. Upon clicking Terminate, agent icon on the taskbar will disappear.
• Always Deny: The user of the agent cannot terminate the agent. The Terminate menu that appears upon right-clicking the agent icon on the taskbar will appear as deactivated.
