Managing Communication Certificate

You can issue or change the CPP certificate for SSL communication between server and agent, and also can register the customer certificate.

The following items in Communication Certificate Management are main features.

• Confirming and Changing CPP Certificate
• Registering and Changing Customer Certificate

Caution

If the certificate is applied, the server can be disconnected. What if the server is disconnected, log in again.

CPP Certificate

CPP certificate is for SSL communication between server and agent. You can check the registered CPP certificate or change the CPP certificate to the customer certificate in following way.

1. Select Settings on the top of the page.
2. Select System > Communication Certificate in the left side of the page.
3. You can check the registered certificate information (type, expiration, certificate status) in Certificate Information.

• Change Certificate: You can change the registered certificate. You can change the registered CPP certificate to the customer certificate.
• Certificate Type: Certificate type is displayed. Certificate types are CPP certificate and customer certificate.

• Expiration Date: Displays the expiration date and remaining days until expiration.
• Certificate Status: Shows whether the issued certificate is applied or not. Certificate status types are Applied, Failed to be applied and Scheduled to be applied. Scheduled to be applied status also shows the scheduled time to apply the certificate.

4. Select Settings on the bottom of the page.

Note

Before 30 days or 15 days before expiration, and alert dialog appears.

Change Certificate

You can change the registered certificate. You can change the certificate in following way.

1. Select Settings on the top of the page.
2. Select System > Communication Certificate in the left side of the page.
3. Click Change Certificate in <Certificate Information>.
4. Select the certificate type in <Change Certificate>.

• Certificate Type: Select the certificate type to change. You can select either CPP certificate or customer certificate.
• CPP Certificate: Changes to CPP certificate.

• Customer Certificate: Changes to customer certificate. If the customer certificate is selected, the user information must be configured.

• Server Certificate: Click Search... To select the server certificate of the customer.
• Server Private Key: Click Search... To select the server private key of the customer.
• Server Private Key Password: Enter the server private key of the customer server.
• Chain Certificate: Click Search... To select the chain certificate of the customer.
• Specify the time to change the certificate.
• Apply Now: Replaces the existing certificate with the new one. During replacement, it will be disconnected from the server, and therefore you should log in again to the Admin console.
• Apply Later: Replaces with the issued certificate on the scheduled time. If this option is enabled, the scheduled time must be specified. ex) 01:00

5. Click OK to close the window.

Caution

If the CPP certificate is reissued for extending the subscription period, it will be disconnected from the server, and therefore you should log in again to the Admin console. The replaced certificate will be applied when CPP is restarted.
