Analyzing IPS Recommendation Environment

This is a feature to select domain, group, or agent and run system scan to collect system environment info required for IPS signature recommendation. Follow the steps below to analyze IPS signature recommendation environment.

Follow the steps below to analyze IPS signature recommendation environment.

1. Login to the web management screen.
2. Select Management > Agent.
3. You can select from System/Group or command to Analyze IPS Recommendation Environment from individual agent. The locations where you can command are as follows:

• Upon selecting System/Group: Right-click and click IPS Policy > Analyze IPS Recommendation Environment.
• If selecting individual agent: From the agent that will issue a command from the agent list, right-click Analyze IPS Recommendation Environment,  or from Send Command at above, click IPS Policy > Analyze IPS Recommendation Environment.

4. A message stating Do you want to send the Analyze IPS Recommendation Environment command to the selected target? will appear. To analyze IPS recommendation environment, click Yes. If you don't want to analyze, press No. You can check the command result from Response Overview.
