Initial Setup
When you first log in to the web console, the initial
settings page will appear for Software License Agreement, License and
System Registration, OTP Settings and Account Settings.
Note
The initial setting of the web management console needs
to be set on only one of several servers to be configured as a domain.
The rest of the servers only need to complete the initial setting of the
command.
Initial Login
Connect to the web console using the initial account ID and password
and specify the initial settings in order.
- Connect to the web console. The address is displayed
in [Connect Web URL] after completing
CPP server installation.
- Enter the initial account ID and password you
received from the place of purchase:
- Initial Account: ***
- Password: **********
- Agree to Software License Agreement to use AhnLab
CPP in Step 1.
- Enter the information in Step 2. License and
System Registration.
Note
The serial number comes with the CPP you purchased.
- Serial Number: Enter the serial number of CPP
Management.
- Company Name: Enter the company name.
- User Name: Enter the user name.
- Domain Name: Enter the domain name.
- Primary DNS Server Address: Enter the company's
DNS server address in the format of IPv4 or IPv6 address, or domain
name. e.g.) ahnlab_domain
- Secondary DNS Server Address 1 and 2: Enter
the secondary DNS server address in the format of IPv4 or IPv6 address,
or domain name.
- Specify Step 3.
OTP Settings. To use OTP, enable One-time Password
and enter the following fields. If disabled ,
you cannot use it.
- Email Server IP Address: Enter the company's
email server address in the format of IPv4 or IPv6 address. e.g.)
192.168.0.12, 2001:0DB8:0::0:1428:57ab
- Port Number: Enter the email server port number.
It must be between 1 and 65535. e.g.) 25
- SSL: Enable SSL to use it. It is disabled by
default.
- ID: Enter the email server's account ID.
- Password: Enter the email server's account
password.
- Sender's Email Address: Enter the email address
of the sender to send the OTP. e.g.) ems5@ahnlab.com
Note
If you enabled OTP, you can
use OTP at Login:. If disabled, you cannot
use it.
- Create an account in Step
4. Account Settings. After creating a new account, you need
to re-login with the new account.
- ID: Enter the account ID. The ID must be between
5 to 10 characters.
- Password: Enter the password. The password
must be up to 10 characters and be a combination of alphanumeric and
special characters.
Note
- Must be 9 to 30 characters long and contain letters,
numbers and special characters
- No more than 3 repeated characters
- No more than 4 consecutive numbers
- No more than 3 key sequences
- No last 3 previously used passwords
- Confirm Password: Confirm the password.
- Name: Enter the administrator's name. The name
must be between 1 to 128 characters..
- Email: Enter the administrator's email address.
(e.g.: 123@ahnlab.com)
- Phone: Enter the administrator's phone number.
(Numbers and hyphen only.)
- Allowed IP Address 1: Specify the IP address
or IP address range the administrator can log in from in IPv4 or IPv6
format. The administrator can only login from the specified IP address.
e.g.) 172.20.9.1
- Allowed IP Address 2: Enter an additional IP
address the administrator can log in from in IPv4 or IPv6 format.
e.g.) 172.20.9.2
Note
The administrator can log in only from the PC with
the allowed IP address. Login is not allowed from an "unspecified"
IP address.
- Login Timeout: Enter the timeout period (1
to 999 mins) for a login session. The administrator will be automatically
logged out after the specified time of inactivity.
- Account Lockout after Failed Login Attempts:
Enter the account lockout period (5 to 10 mins). The administrator
account will be locked out (5-10 mins) when you fail to log in 3 times
in a row.
- Password Valid Time: Enter password valid period.
Enter between 30 to 180 days. The default is 180 days.
- OTP at Login: Enable/Disable OTP at login.
If you Enable OPT at Login, OTP authentication is needed at login.
Enable OTP Authentication and click Send OTP
to send OTP to the email specified in Step 3.
OTP Settings.
- Enter OTP: Enter the OTP you received via email
and click Confirm. If you enter the wrong
OTP, an error message will appear.
- Re-login with the new account.
