Update
Configure the update settings of V3 Net for Linux.
To configure the update settings:
- Click Policy on
the top.
- Select the Security Program
Policy tab.
- Click Add > Anti-Malware
Policy > V3 Net > Update.
- Under the General
section, configure the general update settings
- Enable automatic updates: Check whether the
agent is updated after booting the computer by connecting to the update
server within 5 to 30 minutes.
- Update every: Run the update by connecting
to the update server at the specified time. The update interval can
be set from 1 hour to 24 hours. The default value is 3 hours.
- Enable scheduled updates: Run the update at
a specified time.
- Under the Advanced
section, configure the advanced settings of update.
- Always
update the security product when updating engine: Downloads the V3
patch files when performing the update.
- Show
results when complete: Displays the update information when the update
is completed. You can view the information on the updated product
and the engine.
- Check
integrity of the patch files: Scan the downloaded files for file damage
or data integrity.
- Update
Server: Use a specific server for manual updates.
- Update via user-defined server: Downloads
update files by configuring a user-defined server in the network environment
where a default server is not accessible. The server must start
with http://(https://) and be in IP address or domain address format.
(e.g.: https://ahnlab.com, http://172.100.100.1:8888)
- After configuration, click Save.
- Click OK.
