Scan Exceptions

Any malicious codes or malicious programs registered in the list for scan exclusions will not be scanned. If files, which do not have any potential risk of infection, are registered in the list for scan exclusions, the total scan duration can be reduced. You can register scan exception as follows:

You can add scan exceptions, which will not be scanned. To register scan exception:

1. Click Policy.
2. Select the Security Program Policy tab.
3. Click Add to move to Anti-Malware Policy > V3 Net for Linux Server.
4. Click Scan Exclusions. You can add a scan exception in Malware Name or items registered in the list can be deleted.

• Add: Adds a scan exception.
• Malware Name: The malware name must be the alias of malware as defined by V3.
• Delete: Deletes the registered scan exclusion threats from the list. Select the required threat in the list and then click Delete.

5. Click Save.

Caution

Register a malicious code for scan exception as the excluded malicious will never be scanned. Use this feature only if necessary.
