APM Agent Settings
You can add or modify the agent settings for APM agent
policy.
The followings are the main features available
in APM Agent Settings.

APM Agent Settings
You can add agent settings for APM agent
as follows:

To apply the default settings to the agent settings, click
Default at the bottom of the screen.
- Select Policy/Advanced
Rule.
- Select the Policy
tab.
- Click Add.
- Click Add > APM Agent
Policy.
- Configure the integrity check interval from
Interval. Integrity check for corruption
or infection of the downloaded update files.
- Integrity Check Interval: Configure the integrity
check interval for the APM agents. You can enter 30 to 240 minutes
for the integrity check interval. (Default: 60 mins)
- Configure the required settings for APM
Agent Self Protection.
- APM Agent Self Protection: Blocks the malicious
codes to change the folder for the agent program, process, or registry.
Also blocks the agent program information change by malicious code
to prevent further damage caused by infection. Select the protection
targets such as installation folder, process or registry.
- Enable to disable APM
Agent Watchdog.
- Enable Watchdog service: Enables the watchdog
service to monitor the abnormal behaviors in the agent service.
- Configure the required settings in Monitor
Settings.
- Show the APM agent icon on the taskbar: Displays
the APM agent icon in the Windows taskbar.
- Create shortcut to Patch Information; Creates a shortcut for patch information
to My Desktop.
- Configure the required settings in Agent
Service Recovery. Agent Service Recovery allows to restore
the service settings when an agent is abnormally terminated.
- Maintain system settings: Never changes the
system settings without additional restoration option in EPP product.
- Enable: If the agent service is abnormally
terminated, restores the agent service.
- Restart agent service: Restarts the agent service
after the configured time. The time can be from 1 to 30 minutes. (Default:
5 mins)
- Configure the required settings for Set
APM Agent Operation.
- Delete Agent: Allows or denies when terminating
and deleting an agent.
- Allow when a correct agent password is entered:
Allows deleting an agent only when the password is configured by administrator.
Configure the password to use for deleting an agent.
- Always allow: An agent user can delete an agent.
- Always deny: An agent user cannot delete an
agent. If you want to delete an agent from Add or Remove Programs,
an popup message that you cannot delete an agent appears.
