Update
Configure the update settings for APM agent policy.

Update Settings
You can add update settings for APM agent
as follows:
- Select Policy/Advanced
Rule.
- Select the Policy
tab.
- Click Add.
- Click Add > APM Agent
Policy.
- Configure the required settings in <Update>.
- Configure the required information for general
settings in Update Settings.
- Enable automatic update: Access the update
server in 5 to 30 minutes after PC reboot to check the update status.
After reboot, run update at automatic update interval regardless of
scheduled time.
- Update Interval: Scan the update server at
the specified time and run update. The update interval must be from
1 to 24. (Default: 3 hour)
- Enable scheduled update: Configure the interval
and time to automatically run update at the scheduled time. Select
the update option to run update; system restart, daily, weekly, monthly,
and then define the detailed schedule for update on the required date
and time.
- Daily: Updates at the selected time, everyday.
- Weekly: Updates at the selected day and time,
every week.
- Monthly: Updates at the selected date and time,
every month.
- Once: Updates only once at the selected date
and time.
- Use a specific server for manual updates: Specify
the update server.
- User-defined Server: If access to the default
server is not available due to restricted network environment, configure
the user-defined server to download the update files.
- Configure the required information for update
retry in Update Settings.
- Max Retry Attempts: Specify the retry attempts
to access the server when it is not accessible to the server at the
specified update interval. The default is 15. The retry attempts can
be 1 to 99.
- Proxy server: To use a proxy server in the
network, enable the proxy server and then specify the following fields:
- Server Address: Enter the proxy server address.
- Server port (1~65535): Enter the port number
for the proxy server.
- Login ID: Enter the login ID to log in to the
proxy server.
- Password: Enter the password o log in to the
proxy server.
- Configure the required settings in Windows
Update Settings. Enable the automatic update option in the
control panel to regularly check the status of Windows update. This
feature allows changing the automatic update in the control panel
to the option configured in the server.
- Manage Windows Update: Manages the Windows
update using the server settings. If Manage Windows Update is not
enabled, the Windows update follows the agent settings configured
by user.
- Automatically download recommended updates
for my computer and install them (Recommended).
- Download updates for me, but let user choose
when to install them.
- Notify user but don't automatically
download or install them.
- Turn off Automatic Updates.
Note
The Windows update settings are not applied to Windows
10 and operating system for server. If the Windows updates are downloaded
and installed, the system reboot is usually required. For security of
sever operation, the Windows update using this product is not available,
and therefore, security patches for server OS should be installed by sever
administrator.
