Add Patch Policy
Creates the patch policies. You can configure the detailed
settings including communication interval and retry attempts for patch
installation.
Add Patch Policy
You can add agent settings for adding patch policies as follows:
- Select Policy/Advanced
Rule.
- Select the Policy
tab.
- Click Add.
- Click Add > Patch Policy.
- Configure the required settings in Add
Patch Policy Settings.
- General
Settings: You can configure the settings for communication interval,
retry attempts, patch prevented time, or displaying the install progress.
- Patch
Settings: You can specify the severity by patch type, allow the
administrator to create the policies to apply to an agent, and enable
or disable to apply patches to the selected targets.
- Operating
Systems: Select the operating systems to distribute the patches.
- Click Save to save
the configured settings.
- Configure a policy name and target to apply
the policies from <Add Policy>.
Note
If you click OK without configuring
targets, the policies are saved without applying.
- Name: Specify the name of policy.
- Target: Specify the target to apply the created
policies.
- Description: Enter the description for the
created policy.
- Click OK.
- When a message, Are you
sure you want to apply the policy to the selected target? Appears,
click Yes to apply the policies, or click
No not
to apply the policies.
