Configuring Policy
You can create the policies to apply to the agents from
Policy (EPP agent policy, APM agent policy, patch policy, software policy,
and process termination policy) and view the created policies from the
list.
The followings
are the main featuresavailable
in Policy.
- Creates
the policies (EPP agent policy, APM agent policy, patch policy, software
policy, and process termination policy) and displays the created policies
from the list.
- Check
patch distribution status
Check Policy List
You can view the currently configured policies from the policy list.
You can check the configured policies in the following orders.
- Select Policy/Advanced
Rule.
- Select the Policy
tab.
- When the policy list appears, view the required
policies. Search the required policies using search options. Click
next to Policy/Advanced
Rules > Policy to see the details of individual policy.
- Add: Adds the policy. You can add EPP
agent policy, APM
agent policy, patch
policy, software policy,
and process termination
policy.
- EPP Agent Policy: Adds the EPP agent policy.
You can add the EPP agent policies for agent
settings, update, and V3 settings.
- APM Agent Policy: Adds the APM agent policy.
You can add the APM agent policies for agent
settings, update,
and V3 settings.
- Patch Policy: Adds the patch policies. You
can add the patch policies for general
settings, patch settings,
and operating system.
- Software Policy: Adds the software policies.
You can add the policies for general
settings and software
management,
- Process Termination Policy: Adds process
termination policy.
- Policy List: Indicates the EPP agent policy,
APM agent policy, patch policy, software policy, and process termination
policy.
- Delete (
):
Deletes the selected policy.
- Copy (
):
Copies the selected policy. Moves to the page to edit the
copied(
) policy.
- Export (
):
Exports the selected policy. The exported file has the *.pol format.
ex) export_AGENT_MGMT_2.pol
- Name: Name of policy entered when adding a
policy.
- Description: Description entered when adding
a policy.
- Distributing (
): Indicates
policies are being distributed to the agent.
- Distributed (
): Indicates
policies are distributed to the agent.
- Failed (
):
Indicates the policy distribution failed.
- Individual Policy (
) Indicates
the individual policy is being distributed to the agent.
- Policy Change Date: Date when the policy is
last changed.
Search Policy
You can enter the policy name or description to search for the required
policy. You can search for the policies as follows:
- Select Policy/Advanced
Rule.
- Select the Policy
tab.
- Enter the policy name or description for a search
keyword.
- Click Search(
).
- Check the searched
results.
