Add Software Policy

You can add the software policies to distribute to the agents.

Add Software Policy

You can add the software policies as follows:

1. Select Policy/Advanced Rule.
2. Select the Policy tab.
3. Click Add.
4. Click Add > Software Policy.
5. Configure the required settings in Add Software Policy.

• General Settings: You can configure the settings for checking the software installation status at regular interval.
• Software Management: You can specify the required/prohibited software policy, software patch policy, and action settings.

6. Click Save to save the configured settings.
7. Configure a policy name and target to apply the policies from <Add Policy>.

Note

If you click OK without configuring targets, the policies are saved without applying.

• Name: Specify the name of policy.
• Target: Specify the target to apply the created policies.
• Description: Enter the description for the created policy.

8. Click OK.
9. When a message, "Are you sure you want to apply the policy to the selected target?" appears, click Yes to apply the policies, or click No not to apply the policies.
