Add Software Policy
You can add the software policies to distribute to the
agents.
Add Software Policy
You can add the software policies as follows:
- Select Policy/Advanced
Rule.
- Select the Policy
tab.
- Click Add.
- Click Add > Software
Policy.
- Configure the required settings in Add
Software Policy.
- General
Settings: You can configure the settings for checking the software
installation status at regular interval.
- Software
Management: You can specify the required/prohibited software policy,
software patch policy, and action settings.
- Click Save to save
the configured settings.
- Configure a policy name and target to apply
the policies from <Add Policy>.
Note
If you click OK without configuring
targets, the policies are saved without applying.
- Name: Specify the name of policy.
- Target: Specify the target to apply the created
policies.
- Description: Enter the description for the
created policy.
- Click OK.
- When a message, "Are
you sure you want to apply the policy to the selected target?"
appears, click Yes to apply the policies,
or click No not
to apply the policies.
