Changing Agent Communication Server
Change the server that communicates with the agents.
When the agent communication server is changed, the agent must connect
to the new server and download the engine update file and get the policies
stored in the new server.
- Log in to the web console.
- Go to Management >
Agent.
- Select Domain/Group, or send Manage
Agent > Change Agent Communication Server command to the
agent as below:
- Right-click on Domain/Group and click Manage Agent > Change Agent Communication Server.
- From
the agent list, right-click on the agent to change the communication
server and click Check Integrity, or click Send Management Command on
the top and then Manage Agent > Change
Agent Communication Server.
- In <Change Agent Communication Server>,
specify the server IP address.
- Server IP Address: Enter the server IP address
in the format of IPv4 or IPv6 address. e.g.) IPv4: 192.168.0.1 and
IPv6: 2001:0DB8:0::0:1428:57ab, 2001:0DB8::1428:57ab
- Port Number: Enter the port number. 8804 is
not allowed. (Default: 8804)
- Test Connection: Click to validate the
IP address.
- Click Yes. Check
the result in Response Status.
