Managing Network Block
Block network or disable network block in real-time
when the agent is using V3's firewall. Block Network prevents malware
from spreading by blocking the network of agents from which abnormal traffic
was detected.
Note
Send the command to Block Network
from Detection Status > Detection
> Agent.
Block Network
To block the agent's network:
- Log in to the web console.
- Go to Management >
Agent.
- Select Domain/Group, or send Block
Network command to the agent as below:
- Right-click on Domain/Group and click V3 > Block Network.
- From
the agent list, right-click on the agent to block network and click
Block Network,
or click Send Management Command
on the top and
then V3 > Block Network.
- The message, "Do
you want to block the network of the agent?", will appear.
Click Yes to block the network, and if
not, click No.
Caution
If you block the network, the network connection will be
blocked until you disable it.
Disable Network Block
To disable network block:
- Log in to the web console.
- Go to Management >
Agent.
- Select Domain/Group, or send Disable
Network Block command to the agent as below:
- Right-click on Domain/Group and click V3 > Disable Network Block.
- From
the agent list, right-click on the agent to disable network block
and click Disable Network Block, or click
Send Management Command on
the top and then V3 > Disable Network
Block.
- The message, "Do
you want to disable network block of the agent?", will
appear. Click Yes to disable the network
block, and it not, click No.
Caution
Network Block and Disable Network
Block are only available if V3's firewall is running on the agent.
