Managing Network Block

Block network or disable network block in real-time when the agent is using V3's firewall. Block Network prevents malware from spreading by blocking the network of agents from which abnormal traffic was detected.

Note

Send the command to Block Network from Detection Status > Detection > Agent.

Block Network

To block the agent's network:

  1. Log in to the web console.
  2. Go to Management > Agent.
  3. Select Domain/Group, or send Block Network command to the agent as below:
  1. The message, "Do you want to block the network of the agent?", will appear. Click Yes to block the network, and if not, click  No.

Caution

If you block the network, the network connection will be blocked until you disable it.

Disable Network Block

To disable network block:

  1. Log in to the web console.
  2. Go to Management > Agent.
  3. Select Domain/Group, or send Disable Network Block command to the agent as below:
  1. The message, "Do you want to disable network block of the agent?", will appear. Click Yes to disable the network block, and it not, click  No.

Caution

Network Block and Disable Network Block are only available if V3's firewall is running on the agent.
