Running Remote Control
The server administrator
can connect to the client computer. Connection is restricted based on
the permissions specified in the Remote Control settings in the agent
installation file.
- Log in to the web console.
- Go to Management >
Agent.
- Select Domain/Group, or send Remote
Control command to the agent as below:
- Right-click on Domain/Group and click Manage Agent > Remote Control.
- From the agent list, right-click on the agent
to remote control and click Remote Control, or click Send Management Command .
- The message, "Do
you want to execute the Remote Control command? To execute this command,
you must download and install the remote control program. If the program
is already installed, click Yes.", will appear. To download
and install the remote control program, click Download
Remote Control Program.
- Run the downloaded remote control program.
- In <Remote Control>, check the agent and
time left to connect to the agent
computer.
- When connected, the agent's computer screen
will appear.
Note
If you selected the Allow under user
consent option for Remote Control when creating an agent installation
file, Remote Control is not allowed without user content. If you selected
Always deny, Remote Control is not allowed.
Remote Control Menu
The following toolbar buttons are on top of the Remote
Control page:
- Keyboard/Mouse Control (
):
Control the agent's keyboard and mouse.
- Cursor Tracking (
): Track
the agent's cursor movement.
- Laser Pointer (
): Track
the agent's mouse pointer - arrow (red) or circle (red).
- File Transfer (
): Transfer
files to and from the connected agent.
- Clipboard (
): Transfer clipboards
to and from the connected agent.
- Screen Ratio (
): Adjust
the screen ratio between 50% and 100%. The default is 100%.
- Control Options (
): Set
the packet transfer, screen and shared folder settings.
