Running System Optimization

Optimize the agent's system by clearing the registry, junk files and temporary files.

1. Log in to the web console.
2. Go to Management > Agent.
3. Select Domain/Group, or send Optimize System command to the agent as below:

• Right-click on Domain/Group and click V3 > Optimize System.

•  From the agent list, right-click on the agent to optimize system and click Optimize System, or click Send Management Command on the top and then V3 > Optimize System.

4. The message, "Do you want to optimize the agent?", will appear. Click Yes to optimize the system, and if not, click No.

Note

The optimization process is not displayed while the system is being optimized. Check the result in the event log of the agent's security tool.

Note

Optimize System only runs when the installed V3 supports optimization. It will not run on agents with V3 that does not support system optimization.
