Managing Virtual Group

Add agents to virtual groups - Monitoring Group to specially monitor agents and Policy Blocking Group to exclude agents from policy application or command execution.

1. Log in to the web console.
2. Go to Management > Agent.
3. Select Physical System/Group, or agent to add to the Virtual Group as below:

• Right-click on Physical System/Group and click Virtual Group.

• From the agent list, right-click on the agent to add to the virtual group and click Virtual Group, or click  Send Management Command on the top and then Virtual Group.

4. In <Virtual Group Settings>, select the virtual group to which to add the selected agent or group. Virtual Group includes Monitoring Group or Policy Blocking Group.

• Monitoring Group: Group of agents that cause network or server overload and need to be specially monitored.
• Policy Blocking Group: Group of agents that need to be excluded from policy application or command execution.

5. Click OK.

Note

To exclude a domain/group or agent from a virtual group, select it and select Exclude Virtual Group.
