Group Settings
Sort the groups when creating a new group and create
a virtual group. In Virtual Group, set the virtual group and user-defined
virtual group.
Note
Sort the groups or specify the virtual group settings.
The group menu on the left can be expanded, collapsed or hidden.
Expand all (
) : Expand
the group tree menu.
Collapse all (
) : Collapse
the group tree menu.
Hide (
)
: Hide the group tree menu.
Unhide (
):
Unhide the group tree menu.
Sort Group
Specify the Sorting Order and Auto Arrange Group settings
as below:
- Click Management
on the top.
- From the menu, select Management
> Agent.
- From Agent on the left, click Group.
- Click Sort Group.
- In <Sort Group>, select the sorting order
- Sort Ascending, Sort Descending or Custom.
- Sorting Order: Sort the selected group in the
same level in the following order:
- Sort Ascending: Auto-sort groups in ascending
order - from A to Z.
- Sort Descending: Auto-sort groups in descending
order - from Z to A.
- Custom: Sort groups in user-defined order by
clicking and dragging groups.
- Auto Arrange Group: Auto-sort groups based
on the following order, before or after the sorted groups.
- Before custom group: Add the group before the
sorted groups.
- After custom group: Add the group after the
sorted groups.
- Import
Group/User List: Change the physical system's group/user list to the
imported list.
- Export
Group/User List: Export the physical system's group/user list (name,
department, phone no., email address, employee no., IP address, MAC
address, computer name and user ID) in file format (*.csv).
- Set
virtual physical system group: A virtual physical system group is
not an actual group, but a temporary group of agents created for management
purpose - Policy PEnding Group, Duplicate
Group, Monitoring Group and Policy Blocking Group. In
Set virtual physical system group, you can set Groups to Display and
User-defined Virtual Group.
- Groups
to Display: Select the groups to display on the management window.
- Policy
Pending Group: Virtual group of agents grouped based on the criteria
set in Settings > Group > Virtual Group
> Policy Pending Group.
- Duplicate
Group: Virtual group of agents registered as multiple agents from
one computer based on the criteria set in Settings
> Group > Virtual
Group > Duplicate
Group Management. Duplicate agents could occur when the
agent computer's IP address, MAC address, computer name or NT domain
is changed.
- Monitoring
Group: Group of agents that need to be managed or monitored for degrading
network performance by overloading the network. The monitored agents
are selected by the admin.
- Policy
Blocking Group: Virtual group of agents that should not apply policies
or commands for management purpose.
- User-defined
Group: Group of agents that meet the criteria st by the admin. Add
a user-defined virtual group in User-defined
Virtual Group.
- Click OK.
Virtual Group Settings
A virtual group is not a physical group in a domain, but a temporary
group with agents that need to be managed. There are the following virtual
groups - Policy Pending Group, Duplicate Group,
Monitoring Group and Policy Blocking Group.
Groups to Display
Set the virtual groups to display on the web console as
below:
- Click Management
on the top.
- From the menu, select Management
> Agent.
- From
Agent Status on the left, click Group.
- Click
Virtual Group Settings > Groups to Display.
- In
<Groups to Display>, select the sorting order and select the
virtual groups to display on the web console.
- Policy
Pending Group: Group of agents that could cause security issues based
on the set risk criteria.
- Duplicate
Group: Group of agents registered as one agent. This could happen
when the agent computer's IP address has changed or the computer name
has changed.
- Monitoring
Group: Group of agents that cause network or server overload and need
to be specially monitored.
- Policy
Blocking Group: Group of agents that need to be excluded from policy
application or command execution.
- User-defined
Virtual Group: Group of agents that the administrator needs to manage.
- Click
OK.

Virtual Group
User-defined
Virtual Group can be used to easily manage agents based on the conditions
set by the administrator. To check User-defined Virtual Group:
- Click
Management on the top.
- From
the menu, select Management > Agent.
- From
Agent Status on the left, click Group.
- Click Virtual Group Settings > User-defined Virtual
Group.
- In
<User-defined Virtual Group>, check the list.

When
moving up the selected user-defined virtual group, click
and when moving down the
selected user-defined virtual group, click
.
- Add:
Add a user-defined virtual group.
- Modify:
Modify a user-defined virtual group. In <User-defined
Virtual Group>, select the group to modify and click Modify.
- Delete: Delete a user-defined
virtual group. Click Delete (
) on the left.
- Groups
to Display: Check whether the user-defined virtual group is displayed
on the web console. When the Display virtual
groups (
) icon is shown, the group will be
displayed on the web console's User-defined
Virtual Group list.
- Group Name: The user-defined virtual group
name.
- Click Close.
User-defined
Virtual Group
To add a user-defined virtual
group:
- Click Management
on the top.
- From the menu, select Management
> Agent.
- From Agent Status on the left, click Group.
- Click Virtual Group Settings
> User-defined Virtual Group.
- In <User-defined Virtual Group>, click
Add.
- In <Add User-defined Virtual Group>, enter
the fields below:
Note
The following query is not allowed:
- CREATE, REPLACE, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE,
DROP, TRUNCATE
- Annotation Keywords (--, /**/)
- Procedure Execution (EXEC, CALL)
- Ending Keywords (;)
Note
The IP addresses saved in the csv file must be that of
agents registered on the server and wrapped as below:
112.11.123.11
112.11.123.12
- Click OK.
- In <User-defined Virtual Group>, check
the list.
- Click Close.
To modify a user-defined virtual group:
- Click Management
on the top.
- From the menu, select Management
> Agent.
- In Agent, select
Group > Virtual Group Settings >
User-defined Virtual Group.
- In <User-defined Virtual Group>, select
the group to modify and click Modify.
- In <Modify User-defined Virtual Group>,
modify the settings.
- Click OK.
- Click Close.
To delete a user-defined virtual group:
- Click Management
on the top.
- From the menu, select Management
> Agent.
- In Agent, select
Group > Virtual Group Settings >
User-defined Virtual Group.
- In <User-defined Virtual Group>, select
the group to delete and click Delete

- Click Close.
