V3 Settings

Set the download prevention time for V3's installation and engine file.

From V3 Settings, you can:

• Agent Update
• V3 update

V3 Program Management

1. Click Policy/Advanced Rule on the top.
2. Select the Policy tab.
3. Click Add.
4. Click Add > EPPM Agent Policy.
5. In <V3 Settings>, configure the settings.
6. Enable or disable Use offline policy after.

• Use offline policy after: If you enable this option, set Online Policy and Offline Policy individually from the combo box on the left. Enable this option to change the policy to Offline Policy when the agent cannot connect to the server for the set time. When the agent gets to connect to the server, Online Policy will be deployed.
• Online Policy: Agent policy that will apply when the agent is connected to the server.

7. In Security Product Settings, specify the products to be excluded from installation. All the security products that can be installed to AhnLab EPP will be displayed - even unlicensed ones. The products that can be excluded from installation are V3, EDR, APM, APrM and ESA.
8. Enable/Disable Uninstall if a security product that is set to be exempt is installed.

9. In Download Prevention Time, set a busy time to prohibit download from the server to prevent network overload - Everyday, Every Week or Every Month.

• Security Program Installation: Prohibit download of V3 installation file from the server. V3 only gets downloaded and installed if not already installed on the agent, but if Download Prevention Time is enabled, it will not get installed even if not yet installed. Specify up to 5 download prevention times.
• Engine File: Prohibit download of engine file from the server. Engine file only gets downloaded and installed if the installed file is an older version. If Download Prevention Time is enabled, it will not get downloaded. Specify up to 5 download prevention times.

10. In V3 Program Management, enable/disable Manage V3.

• Manage V3: Enable to set V3 installation options and prohibited download time.

11. In V3 Installation Options, specify the installation environment and interval.

• Select Program: Specify the installation options for V3 ES 9.0 and V3 IS 9.0. The options do not need to be specified for V3 for Mac, V3 Net 9.0 and V3 Net for Unix/Linux Server.
• If the older version is already installed: In the case an older version of the product is already installed, select one of the following options.
• Leave the program installed: Leave the older program installed.
• Remove it first before installing: Remove the older program and install.
• Installation Interval: The interval to check whether the security product is installed. Specify from 1 to 180 minutes (default: 1 min).

Click Default on the bottom to apply the default V3 settings.
