Changing Operation Mode
This feature lets
you select a domain, group, or agent and change operation mode in order
to control the execution of specific files within the agent. The
method to change the operation mode
is as follows:

The method to change
operation mode in order to control the execution of specific files within
the agent is as follows:
- Login to the web management screen.
- Select
Management > Agent Connections.
- You can select from Physical System/Cloud System/Group
or command to Change Operation Mode from
individual agent. The locations where you can command are as follows:
- Upon selecting Physical System/Cloud System/Group:
Right-click, then click Application Control
> Change Operation Mode.
- If selecting individual agent: Select the agent
that will issue a command from the agent list, and right-click Change Operation Mode,
or from Send Command at above,
click Application Control > Change Operation Mode.
- <Change Operation Mode> will appear. Change
to the operation mode of your choice.
- Lockdown: The default of the operation mode
after collection. This mode allows the user to apply all execution
control policies when the executable file is successfully registered
to the inventory policy.
- Maintenance: This mode allows the user to automatically
add to the inventory policy within a set period of time in case of
a file that hasn’t been registered to the inventory policy is executed.
You can select between 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 6 hours, 24 hours,
and unlimited. Unlimited can be selected if the simulation mode is
kept for more than 24 hours. Since execution of applications are allowed,
it can be used for modification tasks by program installations, updates
etc. However, areas that are blocked by the custom execution control
policy and the custom access control policy are not available for
execution.
- Simulation: This mode notifies the admin when
a file that has not been registered to the inventory policy is executed,
and offers a choice to add or not add it to the inventory policy.
You can select between 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 6 hours, and 24 hours,
and unlimited. Unlimited can be selected if the simulation mode is
kept for more than 24 hours. Since execution of applications are allowed,
