Generating One Time Password

Generate and OTP to delete the agent.

Note

Generating one time password is a feature available only for agents installed on Windows.

To generate an OTP:

1. Log in to the admin console.
2. Select Management > Agent.
3. Send the Generate One Time Password command to individual agents in the physical system as below:

• Send command to individual agents: Right-click on the agent to send the commands to from the agent list and click Generate One Time Password, or click Send Management Command on the top, and click  Manage Agent > Generate One Time Password.

Note

The generated OTP can be used to delete the agent only when "Allow when an one time password is entered" is selected from Agent Policy > Agent Operation > Delete agent option.

4. From <Generate One Time Password>, click Generate. When an OTP is generated, send it to the PC from which to delete the agent.
5. Click OK.
