Configuring Policy

Set the policy to apply to the agents. Add and check Agent Policy, V3 Policy and EDR Policy.

From Policy, you can:

• Check policy list
• Add/Modify/Delete agent policy

Note

EDR policy is not available without an EDR license and will not be activated on the screen.

Check Policy

Check the policy list as below:

1. Click Policy/Advanced Rule on the top.
2. Select the Policy tab.
3. Check the policy list or view specific policies using Search.

• Add: Add a policy.
• Agent Policy: Add an agent policy - Refer to Add EPPM Agent Policy and Add Local Update Server Policy.

• Delete (): Delete the selected policy.
• Copy (): Create the same policy as the selected policy. Click Copy () to move to the policy modification window.
• Export (): Export the selected policy in file format - *.json or *.xml. e.g.) export_AGENT_MGMT_15.json, export_V3ISES_9.0_AV_4.xml
• Name: The policy's name.
• Description: The policy's description.
• Deploying (): The policy is being deployed.
• Deployed (): The policy is deployed.
• Failed (): The policy failed to be deployed.
• Individual Policy ( ): Agent with individual policies.
• Policy Change Date: The last policy change date.

Note

Click Default on the bottom to apply the default policy settings.

Search Policy

Search for specific policies as below:

1. Click Policy/Advanced Rule on the top.
2. Select the Policy tab.
3. Enter the Policy Name or Policy Description to search.

4. Click Search ( ).
5. Check the search results.
