How to Install
Install AhnLab EPP as below:
Restrictions
- AhnLab EPP can only be installed on a 64-bit
Intel server, CentOS 7(x86_64).
- AhnLab EPP cannot be installed on other OS,
including CentOS 7 i386 PAE, Red Hat 7 and Windows.
- Account and Permission Settings: If you installed
an account management software or changed the PAM, you cannot create
an account and system operation may fail. You can only create existing
accounts or use accounts already created by the account management
software.
Installation Program
Note
Software type includes common
package, database and package by license. CD-ROM
type includes CentOS 7.0 (x86_64) that can be booted and installed
on software type.
Installation Order
To install AhnLab EPP, you must install CentOS first. Install AhnLab
EPP as below:
- Install CentOS 7(x86_64) - CentOS
Installation.
- Install the AhnLab EPP software - EPP
Installation.
- Set the initial settings to use AhnLab EPP -
Initial Management Console Settings.
- Install the agent installation file - Agent
Installation File.
Note
Before installing EPP, check for any system and network
settings that may crash.
After Installation
Changing the system settings may cause the account management software
to change the account ID and password. This may lead to system operation
failure.
- Use CLI commands to change AhnLab EPP's account
information, file and directory permissions.
- Execute CLI commands using a Root account or
AhnLab EPP account. If you change the account information and permissions,
your must restart AhnLab EPP.
- Manage through the web console after the initial
configuration by CLI.
